I’m Peta, and I help women 55+ who aren’t ready to slow down or sit on the sidelines and  build routines that actually stick –  even when life gets messy.

As someone who’s navigating raising grandkiddos, running a business, and dealing with aging loved ones all at once, I know what it’s like when “the right time” never seems to come. That’s why my coaching focuses on creating your “life happens” routine – the simplest version you can fall back on when everything else goes sideways.

My coaching is built around three foundations: Move, Fuel, and Live – simple, consistent practices that fit your actual life. Not some perfect version of it. The real one, with all its messiness.

How many times have you heard “it’s just not the right time, my life is too hectic”? I hear it all the time – and I want to be honest about it: this IS life.

 

“Life happens” isn’t an excuse – it’s reality. I didn’t expect to be raising grandkiddos in my mid-60s. I did expect to help aging loved ones, but being sandwiched between generations while running a business? That’s something totally different. And that’s before we even get to everything else that happens on a daily basis.

 

That’s why everything I teach is built on creating your “life happens” routine – the simplest plan you can scale back to when everything falls apart. Instead of quitting when life gets messy, you just return to the foundations.

Ageing With Intention Foundations

How this becomes your “Life Happens” plan

Here’s the thing — life doesn’t slow down just because you want it to. It’s always a bit messy. That really is life.

When you get honest about where your time actually goes, you can start building a routine that fits your real life — not the “ideal” one you think you should have.

For me, that looks like this:

I’ll always make ten minutes in the morning that’s just for me. That’s my time.

When life’s humming along, I might use those ten minutes for different activities. But when “life happens” and things get chaotic, that same ten minutes becomes where my foundations kick in — the things that actually keep me grounded.

Foundation #1 — Live Intentionally.

Where do you actually have time when things are hectic?

Now that I know I can commit to ten minutes every morning — no matter what life throws at me — the next step is working out what matters most to me inside those ten minutes.

This isn’t about doing what’s easy.

It’s about doing what’s important — and for me, that means staying strong and capable.

That’s why functional and strength training are my defaults here.

They’re what keep me doing the things I love — lifting, bending, getting down on the floor, and moving with confidence.

So when “life happens” and everything feels a bit chaotic, I’ve got a ten-minute compound training session ready to go in my back pocket.

Those ten minutes keep my strength, my capabilities, and my confidence intact — no matter what the day throws at me.

Foundation #2— MOVE Like It Matters.

When it comes to movement and daily life, what matters most to you?

And the last piece of the puzzle is how you fuel your body — what you eat and drink, and how that supports your body to do what matters to you.

For me, this is where protein comes in. I keep it simple: a protein shake before and after my ten-minute session.

fancy, but it works. It helps me recover, stay strong, and have enough energy to show up again tomorrow.

Foundation #3— Fuel Your Actual Body.

What simple, consistent eating choices help you support your body?

These three foundations aren’t complicated — they just work. They fit into your life as it is, not the picture-perfect version. Ten minutes here, one small choice there, and suddenly you’re creating a daily routine that matters to you. You feel stronger, energised, and more capable. That’s the work we’ll do together — turning the small, steady steps into lasting change.
