The busy myth, the active couch potato, and what the other 96% is doing to your health
We tell ourselves we’re too busy. We squeeze in a workout and call it done. But what happens in the other 96% of your day matters just as much — and most women have no idea they’ve become what researchers call an ‘active couch potato.’ This talk cuts through the BS and shows what moving more actually looks like.
3. The Bra Hook Isn't Lying to You
Reading the signals before they become the slippery slope
The bra hook that takes longer. The pause before the stairs. The grunt you didn’t mean to make. Most women adapt around these signals without ever addressing them — and that’s how the slippery slope starts. This talk is about recognising what your body is telling you before you’ve gone too far to easily come back.
4. The Grandmother Hypothesis
Why women over 60 are not a spent force — and the science to prove it
There’s an evolutionary reason women live decades past their reproductive years. We are wired to matter — to our families, our communities, our world. This talk makes the case for women over 60 with science, story, and zero apology. You are not done. You are needed. And your wisdom is not a consolation prize.
